Barbara Castle worked at Wilson's Sporting Goods for 36 years
Barbara E. Castle, 60, of Ada, died Friday March 27, 2015, at 11:20 a.m.. at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
She was born Sept. 8, 1954, in Kenton, Ohio to Floyd W. and Tessie L. (Armentrout) Chalfin and they are deceased. She married Terry D. Castle on Jan. 21, 1982, and he survives in Ada.
She worked at Wilson Sporting Goods, Ada, as a lacer for 36 years. She was a member of the former Ladies Auxillary of the Roundhead VFW Post #8832.
Also surviving are two sons; Michael (Karen) Dunson, Jr. of Waynesfield, Ohio, David C. Castle of Kenton, Ohio. A daughter; Regina “Gina” Fleece of Bluffton, Ohio. A brother; Anthony “Tony”(Ginger) Chalfin of Pinetop, Ariz., two sisters; Bonnie Winder of Pioneer, Ohio and Patti Iles of Cape Coral, Fla., a brother-in-law Dwayne Smith of Pinetop, Ariz., Six grandchildren; Bailey Collins, Chase Dunson, Madison Fleece, Ashley Fleece, Eli Castle, Colton Castle.
She was preceded in death by; a sister Susan Smith, two brothers-in-law; Gary Iles and Bill Winder.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday April 2, at 11 a.m. at the Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger, Ohio, with Rev. Don Holbrook officiating. Burial will follow in Preston Cemetery, Alger, Ohio.
Friends may call on Wednesday April 1, from 4-8 p.m. at the Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger, and until the time of service on Thursday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice
