Sign-ups for the Ada summer swim team will be held Thursday, April 23, and Monday, April 27, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Ada First United Methodist Church, 301 N. Main St. in Ada. Swimmers from ages 5 to 18 are invited.

The cost is $50 per child, with a $5 credit for each additional family member. This cost includes one ad per family in the championship heat sheet. A $10 late fee will be assessed for anyone registering after May 25.

Morning practices are held Monday through Friday at the Ada pool beginning as soon as school is out, hopefully May 25. The first meet will be June 11 and swim championships this year are July 10 and 11 at the Wapakoneta Swim Club.

Susan Stuart said, "A representative from Poco Loco Swim Shop will be available at the first sign-up on April 23 for swim suit orders, caps and/or goggles. This is not a new swim suit year. We will be using the same suit as last year for our team suit.
