Multicultural fair Friday afternoon in McIntosh
Ohio Northern University will hold its annual Multicultural Fair in the McIntosh Center Activities Room on Friday, April 10, at 4 p.m. This event is a collaboration of ONU’s International Services, ONU Student Senate and seven multicultural student organizations.
The event is free and open to the public.
The Multicultural Fair is an opportunity for members of ONU’s diverse international student population to showcase their home countries with traditional clothing, cultural decorations and crafts, ethnic food samplings, and musical arts. Some of the countries to be featured include Brazil, China, Japan, Taiwan, Denmark, South Korea, Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia.
In addition to the display booths and talent show, the night will include an international flag installation in ONU’s student center, a culturally themed photo booth, a competitive talent show, and recognition of international student scholarship winners. The event will conclude with an International Dance Party to be held in the McIntosh Center Ballroom.
