Eula Young 1925-2015
Eula Mae Young, 89, died Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at 3:55 a.m. at Lima Memorial Health System, Lima.
She was born on June 24, 1925, in Rushylvania, Ohio, to Charles and Dora (O’Brien) Lansing, Sr. and they are deceased. She married Emmitt F. Young on Jan. 28, 1947 and he died Dec. 1, 1984.
Mrs. Young worked in housekeeping at Ohio Northern University for 15 years and at the Ohio Kentucky Manufacturing for 15 years. She was a member of the Grace Gospel Church of Ada.
Surviving is a brother, Roe Lansing of Ada; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Floyd, Russell, Charles, and Robert Lansing; and three sisters, Hazel Fitzpatrick, Nellie Jett, and Rosella Walters.
A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 16, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada, with Pastor Trent Boedicker officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ada.
Friends may call 6-8 p.m. on Friday, May 15, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada, and until the time of service at the funeral home on Saturday.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Charity of the Donor’s Choice.
