Lots going on as the school year comes to a close
As the school year comes to a close there are several important events remaining on the calendar. Those event, taken from the school website, follow:
DATES TO REMEMBER:
May 15th: Spring Fever Follies at 7:00 p.m.
May 19th: Seniors last Day/Community Service
May 19th: Band Concert at 7:30 p.m.
May 20th: Baccalaureate Service at 7:00 p.m. ONU Chapel
May 24th: Commencement at 2:00 p.m.
THE JUNIOR HIGH BETA CLUB: is sponsoring a dance on Saturday, May 16 from 6 to 9 p.m. for students in grades 6, 7 and 8. The dance will be held in the cafeteria and the admission is $5 plus a canned good item to be donated to the Ada Food Pantry.
ALL LIBRARY BOOKS: need to be returned Friday, May 15. If you have a question about what you currently have checked out, please refer to the list on the library doors or see Mrs. Smith. Any books not returned will be added to school fees for next year.
LAST BOOK CLUB MEETING: of the year will be Friday, May 15 at 8 a.m. in the library. We will be discussing Deadline by Chris Crutcher. Join us for breakfast and a special farewell to our senior Book Club members.
STUDENT COUNCIL ELECTIONS: Petitions were due May 14. Elections will be held the week of May 18.
ATTENTION: Any students who are going to be taking courses at Ada for Rhodes State Credit, turn in your College Credit Plus application for Rhodes to the HSO by May 15. Also, for students who are going to be taking courses at Ada for ONU credit, apply online by Friday. If you have any questions, see Mrs. Prater.
JR HIGH SOFTBALL: Please turn in uniforms to Miss Steiner by Friday.
BACCALAUREATE: We would like to cordially invite the public to the annual Baccalaureate service at the Ohio Northern University Chapel on Wednesday, May 20 at 7 p.m. There will be worship from area ministers, readings from the senior class, faculty blessings and music from Dave Lusk, baccalaureate address by Lyn Davis, music from senior choir and band members, and more.
