Mae Sizemore visitation on Tuesday
Mae Sizemore, 91, died on Saturday, May 23, 2015, at 6:20 a.m. at Richland Manor Nursing Home, Bluffton.
She was born on June 11, 1923, in Prestonsburg, Kentucky, to Joe and Rosa (Warrix) Calhoun who preceded her in death. On Nov. 25, 1940 she married John P. Sizemore and he died on Sept. 23, 2010.
Mae was a homemaker. She was a member of the Alger Assembly of God Church.
Mae is survived by two sons: Jay Sizemore of Ada and Charles Sizemore of Harrod; two daughters: JoAnn Brockman of Wapakoneta and Peggy Pitts of Lima; nine grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren; two sisters: Faye Grey and Mary Alice Miller both of Prestonsburg, Ky.
She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Gary Brockman; three brothers: Dewey Calhoun, Ray Calhoun and Bill Calhoun; a sister, Sue Meadows.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 27, at the Alger Assembly of God Church, 7050 State Route 235, Alger, with Pastor Mark Andreasen officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ada.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada and one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alger Assembly of God Church.
