Society for Clinical Pathology National Student Honor Awards to two ONU students
Two Ohio Northern University students in the West Central Ohio Medical Laboratory Science (WCOMLS) program have received the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) National Student Honor Award.

Emily Fanello, a senior medical laboratory science major from Medina, Ohio, and Molly Wukusick, a senior medical laboratory major from Waynesfield, Ohio, will be presented with a certificate from the ASCP at a WCOMLS graduation ceremony on May 8.
To be eligible for the award, students must be a current laboratory science student, be a student member of ASCP, have a minimum GPA of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale, be in the final year of an accredited medical laboratory science program, and demonstrate participation in leadership and community service activities.
Both students will receive a certificate from the ASCP honoring their achievements and will have their name and university affiliation listed in a special section of the ASCP’s website. This is the third consecutive year that two WCOMLS program students have received this honor.
