Northwest Ohio Diabetes Association awards scholarships to area students
Several area students have been awarded scholarships in the amount of $500 each from the Northwest Ohio Diabetes Association. Those earning scholarship awards include:
Nicholas Bowden – 2013 Findlay High School graduate attending The Ohio State University and majoring in actuarial science.
Ben Davis – 2012 Tiffin Columbian High School graduate attending The Ohio State University and majoring in business.
Katelynn Driggers – 2013 Carey High School graduate attending Bluffton University and majoring in education/Spanish.
Phillip Farwig – 2010 Liberty-Benton High School graduate attending Ohio Northern University and majoring in pharmacy.
Elizabeth Selhorst – 2014 Columbus Grove High School graduate attending Ohio Northern University and majoring in nursing.
Faith Best – 2015 Perrysburg High School graduate attending Ohio Wesleyan University and majoring in pre-medicine.
Brooke Eiden – 2015 Ottawa Glandorf High School graduate attending the University of Toledo and majoring in nursing.
Brenna Lammers – 2015 St. Wendelin High School graduate attending The Ohio State University and majoring in molecular genetics/pre-medicine.
The Northwest Ohio Diabetes Association scholarship is provided annually to high school seniors or current college students to further the education of those with diabetes. Students from Hancock, Hardin, Putnam, Seneca, Wood and Wyandot counties are considered for the annual award.
