Excitement was in the air as more than 40 people waited outside of ReStore for the doors to open at 5 p.m. on Friday for the arrival of Santa. And, Santa didn't disappoint. He sat in his chair, heard their wish list, and handed presents to each child.

On Santa's lap are Connor, Camden and Cole McKean. Then, elves helped children choose presents for their immediate family. With selections in hand, the kids then went to a table to have the presents wrapped. ReStore, with Santa's help, made a lot of youngsters happy that evening.
The Icon invited Chris Leuthold, adjunct math instructor at Bluffton University, to provide The Icon with some math puzzles.

Guess who recently returned to the Ada Public Library.
The staff found "Twinkle" earlier this week when they arrived in the morning. Apparently he is at the Ada Public Library to wish all the patrons happy holidays.
According to Amanda Bennett, library director, you can stop in and try to find his favorite hiding spots around the library.
"Twinkle will be watching and reporting back to Santa each night, so remember to be on your best behavior when visiting," she informed the Icon
Ohio Northern students from Brazil and Japan describe Christmas traditions in their home countries. They spoke to 60 women on Tuesday at the United Methodist Church. The program was sponsored by the Hardin County Homemakers Council and the county extension office. Music was provided by the Ready, Set Grow Preschool students and The JubilHeirs from Miss Vicki's Music Studio. Laurie Laird and Chelsea Boehm talked on "A Burlap Christmas." His first visit is tonight at Restore, then on Saturday at The Inn at ONU, then on Monday at Merry on Main, and again on Thursday, at Ada Public Library.
Here's what you need to know about these visits:
• ReStore from 5 to 8 pm on Friday, Dec. 4. Children are invited to "shop" for family members, but in this case the "shopping" is free. A child may select a free gift for each person in his/her family. And, the packages will be wrapped at no charge.
