The following 2021 hydrant flushing notice has been issued by the Village of Ada:
As part of our annual water maintenance program, Public Works employees will be flushing fire hydrants the week of September 20th (weather permitting) throughout the Village, Monday through Friday from 7:30 am-4:30pm.
Because water mains are typically looped together, you may notice that your service pressure is affected, even if hydrants are being flushed several blocks away.
The Ada water system has experienced a water line break in the 400 block of Liberty Street with a loss of water pressure for all of Liberty Street.
The Village has issued a BOIL ADVISORY until further notice.
Water used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, and food preparation should be boiled for 3 minutes and let cool before use. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience while we work to resolve this problem. For more information, please contact the Village of Ada at 419-634-4045.
At 4:15 p.m. on September 15, 2021, the Village of Ada reported a water main break on Liberty Street. The village requests:
"Please avoid Liberty Street as it will be closed during this time. We apologize for any inconvenience and will reopen Liberty Street as soon as repairs are completed."
