These Ada residents are heading to Romania
It's off to Romania on Wednesday for these eight Adalites, including (front row, from left) Julie Ludanyi and Barb Ulrey, co-directors, Noah Allen, Caleb Dunlap; (back row) Kathi Dunlap, Will Allen, Lydia Smith, Rikki Nichelson.
The group, from various churches, is on a mission trip to work with 45 youth there, primarily to teach English.
Other activities for the campers include Bible study, music, sports, and crafts.
The group will return to Ada on July 14. Julie's parents were from Transylvania, a Hungarian-speaking portion of Romania.
Julie, a retired Ada High School math teacher, speaks Hungarian fluently. This is her 10th time to work with youth there.
