Violet Moser 1920-2015
Violet Ruth Moser, 95 died June 17, 2015, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay.
She was born April 2, 1920, in Pandora to the late Walter and Margaret (Naas) Basinger. On May 6, 1941 she married Wayne Moser who preceded her in death on Oct. 15, 2006.
She graduated from Pandora-Gilboa High School and was a homemaker. She was a member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ, Bluffton.
Survivors include a daughter Joan (William) Crider of Swanton; a son Donald Moser of Ada; four grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by four brothers Harmon Basinger, Freeman Basinger, Orville Basinger, Floyd Basinger; and four sisters Odessa Augsburger, Geneva Fett, Treva Basinger and Dorothy Rausch.
Services will be held Saturday June 20, at 11 a.m. at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton. William Herr officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Bluffton. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mennonite Memorial Home or Bridge Hospice.
