Rosella Underwood was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church
Rosella L. Underwood, 97, died on Thursday, Aug. 6, 2015 at 7:47 a.m. at Lost Creek Care Center, Lima.
She was born on April 19, 1918, in Wapakoneta, to Ed and Grace (Jackson) Werling who preceded her in death. On June 15, 1944, she married Richard Underwood and he died on May 30, 1989.
Rosella was a homemaker. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church of Ada. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Altar & Rosary Society. Rosella was a member of the VFW Post #9381 Women’s Auxiliary of Ada.
She is survived by a son, Jeffrey R. Underwood of Kenton; a daughter, Lisa Anne Miller of Ada; three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; a brother: Richard Werling of Waynesfield.
She was preceded in death by two great grandchildren: James Richard Wells and Avery Cunningham; a brother, James Werling; two sisters: Lois Daley and Mary Ring.
A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 10, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada with Deacon Michael Hood officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ada.
Friends may call two hours prior to the service from 9 to 11 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 10, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada.
Memorial contributions may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and/or Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church of Ada.
