KENTON__The Ada High School golf team decisively defeated county rival Hardin Northern in a dual match at the Veterans Memorial Park Golf Course in Kenton on Friday, August 15.

The Bulldogs defeated the Polar Bears, 202-217. Ada evened its dual match record at 1-1 with the win.

“We continue to improve each match and while we’re still not scoring to our potential, we are starting to at least score closer to our average,” said head coach Tod Schmidt.

FROM AACC EMAIL UPDATE__The August 20 meeting of Ada Area Chamber of Commerce members will feature a special presentation from Mike Springer of Wilson Football, who will share insights and stories from one of Ada’s most iconic brands.

Circle U Waffle Co will be serving up a delicious breakfast for all attendees.

The meeting will take place at 8:30 a.m. at the Ada Public Library, 320 N. Main St.

AUG 14 MEDIA RELEASE__ The United Way of Hardin County launched its 2025/2026 campaign with the annual Day of Caring on August 15, bringing together 40 volunteers to make a meaningful impact at six local work sites across the county.
