The Village of Ada has announced that Buckeye Avenue will be temporarily closed to through traffic on May 21-22 for implementation of the Buckeye Avenue one-way traffic flow and reverse angle parking project.

FROM FACEBOOK__The next meeting of Liberty Township Trustees is Monday, May 19 at 7:00 p.m. at the board office, 110 E. Buckeye Ave. Ada.

The board commented on Facebook: "Wind turbines and solar farms have NOT been proposed in Liberty Township. The trustees know that it will probably happen in the future and have asked for the public’s opinion. They want to be prepared for the future of the township.

"Meetings are always open to the public."

The Village of Ada has announced that the last day to purchase pool passes for the 2025 season will be June 13, 2025, ending at 4:00 p.m.

Pool passes are only available at the Ada Municipal Building, 115 W. Buckeye.

WLIO Hometown Stations has reported on the FBI arrest of Bluffton resident Kris Shoemaker and Kayla Miller of Lima.

The report explains that Shoemaker and Miller are facing federal child pornography charges. The pair is alleged to have shared videos of children under the age of 10 with Shoemaker charged with receiving and distributing child pornography.

The Bluffton Police Department issued a statement on May 8 noting that it assisted the FBI with executing a search warrant early that morning.
