Freed Center present electro hip-hop violinist Svet on Oct. 31
The Ohio Northern University Freed Center for the Performing Arts will present electro hip-hop violinist Svet on Saturday, Oct. 31, at 8 p.m.
Svet, an “America’s Got Talent” finalist, brings his blend of music and fun to the Freed Center stage. Bulgarian-native Svet is an Eastman School of Music classically trained violinist, but when he discovered the fascinating world of hip-hop, he began doing something extraordinary.
Combining his finely tuned ear for classical music and his passion for hip-hop, Svet has introduced a new, captivating sound into the mainstream realm that fuses classical training with elements of hip-hop, house music and even reggae.
Tickets for this event are $25 for adults, $20 for seniors, $15 for ONU faculty and staff, and $10 ONU students and children.
The Freed Center box office is open Monday through Friday from noon to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Phone orders are accepted with American Express, MasterCard, VISA or Discover by calling 419-772-1900.
Tickets also are available online at www.freedcenter.com.
