ReStore has several holiday events on its calendar
ReStore has several holiday events for the public to enjoy or volunteer for.
Thanksgiving meal
There will be a free community meal for Thanksgiving from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 24. All are welcome. ONU faculty and staff are donating the ham and turkey. Contact ReStore if you can donate green beans, corn, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes or some of the 20 pies needed.
Raffle
ReStore is sponsoring a raffle to help pay for a new floor, which will be installed the first of the year. Over $9,500 has been raised through various events and donations with $4,500 left to be secured.
Raffle tickets are $5 donation for a chance to win a one-night stay at The Inn, a $100 Freed Center gift certificate, and a $20 Olive Garden gift certificate.
The drawing will take place during Crock Pot Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 8.
Visit from Santa
Santa will make an appearance at ReStore from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 4. That's the time when children are invited to "shop" for family members, but in this case the "shopping" is free. A child may select a free gift for each person in his/her family.
And, it will be wrapped free. ReStore collects these gifts and wrapping paper all year to make this happy time happen.
Hours
ReStore is open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 11 to 4 pm, on Tuesday from 11 to 6, and on Saturday from 10 to 2.
