The Mustard Seed Cafe, Bluffton, will host a fundraiser on Father's Day.
The event is held Sunday, June 21, from 5-8 p.m. by the Mustard Seed Café and Cavalier Distributing at the Mustard Seed Café at 562 N Main St., Bluffton.
Proceeds will be sent to Island Dolphin Care, Key Largo, Fla., to sponsor a week of joy through dolphin assisted therapy for Logan Bell. Logan is a young adult born with FG Syndrome, a genetic disorder causing mild to severe developmental delays and other medical concerns. Esther J. Davis, 96, died on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at 1:58 PM at Hardin Hills Health Center, Kenton.
She was born in in Columbus, Ohio, to Edward J. and Virgie Lee (Clark) Tobey who preceded her in death. In September of 1939 she married Carl H. Davis and he preceded her in death on Feb. 2, 2001.
Esther was a homemaker.
She is survived by a brother-in-law, Kenneth Davis of Holland, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by two sisters: Helen Curry and Pearl Tressie and two brothers-in-law: Harold and Wilford Davis.
