Ada chamber says "Come downtown to celebrate Small Business Saturday"
Small Business Saturday is Nov. 28 and the Ada Area Chamber of Commerce has several reasons to bring shoppers to downtown.
Here are events planned:
• At the Depot – Fourteen crafters and home business representatives will offer “cash and carry” items from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Shoppers will enjoy free donuts and coffee compliments of the chamber.
• Reichert’s – many items will be priced at 30 to 50 percent off during the day.
• Liberty National Bank – Open a children’s savings account and receive a $25 Visa gift card
• Ada Flea Market – 50 percent off all holiday decorations. Any ornament on trees, 50 cents; hot dogs or punch, 10 cents.
And coming Dec. 7...
Merry on Main, sponsored by the chamber and Ohio Northern University, takes place at the Depot from 5:30 to 7 p.m. The event includes dancers entertaining in the parking lot.
Santa will arrive in an Ada police cruiser at 5:30 p.m. He will greet children of all ages in the Depot. Cookies and hot chocolate will be available.
