Ada CIC will receive $1,500 from Hardin Chamber & Business Alliance
The Hardin County Chamber & Business Alliance will present a check during Ada's Nov. 17 village council meeting.
A $1,500 check will be presented to Ada's Community Improvement Corporation leadership.
In addition, the Alliance will present a check of $1,000 to the Forest Community Improvement Corporation during its monthly meetingon Nov. 18.
Both checks come from the Economic Development Division of the Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance, and will help towards their community and economic development efforts and strategies.
Over the past year, the Alliance staff along with officials from Ada and Forest CIC, participated in AEP Ohio’s 2015 Community Economic Development Academy (CEDA), which was a multi-phase program that included attending site selection workshops, preparing new marketing strategies and hosting national site selectors for tours of the county’s top industrial sites.
These funds are being shared from the grant money recently received by the Alliance for participating in the yearlong program. The original grant money was provided by AEP Ohio.
