TIFFIN — The Ohio Northern women's golf team finished second of 14 teams at the Heidelberg Fall Invitational Saturday and Sunday at Mohawk Golf and Country Club. The Polar Bears are now 12-1.

A large crowd was on hand for the 33rd annual Ada Harvest and Herb Fest on Saturday. Good weather, a record number of vendors, the crowning of a queen, a parade and family-friendly entertainment drew many people to Ada’s Main Street from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Almost magically, everyone was packed up, the street sweeper had done its job, and SR 235 was open to traffic by 5 p.m.
SHELBYVILLE, Ind. — The Ohio Northern women's cross country team put five runners in the top 10 and went on to win the Blue River Park Pre-Regional meet on Saturday at the Blue River Cross Country Course.
Freshman Elizabeth Whitmore (Mason) led a tight ONU pack with a fifth place finish out of 56 runners in 24:52 over the 6,000-meter course.
Sophomore Megan Wright (Eaton/Twin Valley South) was sixth in 25:05, senior Kristina Myers (Grove City/Central Crossing) was seventh in 25:21, sophomore Chyanne Retcher(Ney/Fairview) was ninth in 25:27 andjunior Kathleen Colvin (Hilliard/Bishop Ready) was tenth in 25:32.
SHELBYVILLE, Ind. — Senior All-American Ian McVey (Stow/Munroe Falls) and senior John McNutt (Ashtabula/Lakeside) posted top-10 finishes to lead the Ohio Northern men's cross country team at the Blue River Park Pre-Regional meet on Saturday at the Blue River Cross Country Course.
The Polar Bears (19-12 overall) finished second of six teams with 59 points.
The Ohio Northern football team rolled up 610 yards of offense in a 49-16 Ohio Athletic Conference victory over Wilmington on a warm, sunny afternoon at Dial-Roberson Stadium.
The Polar Bears improve to 3-0 on the season and are 2-0 in OAC play, while the Quakers fall to 1-1, 0-1.
