The Inn at ONU has a summer of entertainment planned ranging from live music to a night of comedy and a family-friendly pirate and mermaid party. Here are the details:
Saturday, June 9, 5 p.m.
In celebration of National Rose’ Day, the Inn presents an Italian food and wine pairing. The evening includes live music in the garden courtyard with samplings of flatbreads from the grill, rose’ wines and Italian food.
Tickets are $50 per person, including tax and gratuities. Calling the Inn at 419-7872-4112 requires advance tickets.
LACROSSE, Wis. — Junior Maddy Reed (Piketon) won the national title and sophomore Maggie Krause (Chagrin Falls/Kenston) earned All-America honors in the pole vault to lead Ohio Northern on the first day of the 2018 NCAA III Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Thursday afternoon at Roger Harring Stadium.
Reed won her first title and is now a four-time All-American by clearing 3.95 meters.
Krause cleared 3.65 meters to finish tied for eighth.
Junior Caleb Thomas (Strongsville) was named Second Team Academic All-America by the College Sports Information Directors of America, becoming only the second player in school history to earn Academic All-America status for the ONU baseball program.

Division III baseball teams have at least a 3.90 GPA, with 10 student-athletes maintaining a perfect 4.00 GPA. The seven members of the first team have an average GPA of 3.95.

Ada American Legion Post 185 announces the selection of five delegates to Buckeye Girls State. The delegates are Lindsey Fry, Shyanne Howard, Anabel Alexander, Kama Arn, and Morgan Swick.
Lindsey Fry is the daughter of Jason and Jayna Fry and attends Upper Scioto Valley High School. She has been a member of Student Council for 3 years, a class officer for 2 years, a member of Business Professional of America for 3 years, one year as an officer, USV local Honor Society, Key Club, and Varsity volleyball for 2 years.
