ONU ranked among the top 10 ‘Best Value Colleges and Universities in Ohio’
Best Value Schools has ranked Ohio Northern University No. 9 in its “30 Best Value Colleges and Universities in Ohio 2015” rankings published at bestvalueschools.com.
Best Value Schools assigns a numerical score to each school after evaluating graduation rate, net price and 20-year return on investment. After adding the points, the rankings give each university a final score out of 200.
The top 30 schools in the rankings have scores ranging from 91 to 164, and each has something different to offer in terms of its cost, quality and reputation. ONU finished with a final score of 128.43.
According to the website, “Students who are hoping to see a return on investment of nearly $300,000 over 20 years should consider Ohio Northern University, one of the best universities in Ohio when it comes to academic excellence and student success.
ONU has long been influenced by its affiliation with the Methodist Church, which in turn has inspired its adherence to the values of goodness, truth, and beauty. Students can choose from any number of traditional and uncommon majors, such as advertising design, forensic biology, international theatre, manufacturing technology, and multimedia journalism.
ONU sports plenty of pre-professional options as well, from optometry to physical therapy.”
