Santa will make several Ada visits this holiday season - here's where and when
By Monty Siekerman
Santa will pop in and out of Ada several times in the next few weeks. Who is minding the store while he visits here? Mrs. Claus and the elves, we hope.
Look for Santa at:
• ReStore from 5 to 8 pm on Friday, Dec. 4. Children are invited to "shop" for family members, but in this case the "shopping" is free. A child may select a free gift for each person in his/her family. And, the packages will be wrapped at no charge.
• The Inn at Ohio Northern University from 9 to 11 am on Saturday, Dec. 5. Complimentary photos with Santa will be taken. Breakfast is $11.50 for adults, $6.50 for children, 3 and under free.
• Railroad Depot from 5:30 to 7 pm on Monday, Dec. 7. He will be there as part of the Chamber of Commerce's Merry on Main event.
• Ada Public Library from 6 to 7 pm on Thursday, Dec. 10. Mortar Board students will help children with crafts while they wait to talk with Jolly Ole St. Nick. Photos of kids will be taken and posted on the library's Facebook page.
• Liberty National Bank from 9 am until noon on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24. Last chance! There will be free gifts for children, refreshments, and a complimentary photo.
• After December 25, Santa can be found at the North Pole, sitting in a rocking chair, drinking a Coke (or it a Pepsi?), a smile on his face, tired, but thinking "well done."
