Ada council set to reorganize for 2016
Ada council has some New Year appointments to make at its first meeting of 2016, slated for 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 4.
Among those decisions is selecting a council president and seven committee chairs:
• Finance
• Street
• Building/grounds
• Safety
• Personnel
• Utility
• Economic development
Plus, council members will chose representatives to the ambulance board, planning commission, negotiation committee enterprise zone and enterprise review committee.
All this is in addition to the regular agenda, which is an attachment at the bottom of this story.
Meetings on the council’s January calendar include:
• Jan. 18 – planning commission
• Jan. 19 – council meeting, 6:30 p.m.
• Jan 20 – CIC meeting at ONU, noon
• Jan. 25 – Ambulance board meeting, 6 p.m.
