Rev. Lewis Hicks, age 97, of McGuffey, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at Burton Ridge Assisted Living, Lima (10 years and 1 day after his beloved wife, Sarah).

He was born on May 11, 1929, in Mousie, Kentucky, to the late Timothy and Ida (Hicks) Hicks. On June 25, 1949, Lewis married Sarah Ellen Keen, and she preceded him in death on June 8, 2016.

MEDIA RELEASE__The Ada High School baseball program is hosting a youth baseball camp on July 10-11. This camp is for players ages 10-15 and the cost is $30.

Each camper will receive two tickets to a Dayton Dragons baseball game.

Joe Ferguson from the Ada Historical Society will lead the seminar on Wednesday, June 17, at 7:00 p.m. at the Ada Public Library. Participants will learn step-by-step instructions on how to use the world's largest genealogy site. Ancestry.com is free to use while being accessed inside the library.
