WAPAKONETA – The visiting and short-handed Ada summer swim team lost to West Ohio Aquatic League rival Wapakoneta on a cool Monday evening, June 22.
“It was a dark, stormy and cold night,” said Gator head coach Dave Lusk. “Despite the conditions, we swam very well. I remain proud of all of our swimmers.”
The Waves captured the combined meet as they out-pointed the Gators, 549-190. Ada fell to 0-6 in dual meets this summer after the defeat.
Wapakoneta dropped the Gator boys to a 3-3 record by winning their fairly close meet, 202-147. The Waves downed the 0-6 Ada girls team 347-43 in their dual meet.
