Ada's latest news

FROM ADA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE FACEBOOK__No more April Fools here, we have a sad update from our friends at The Mercantile On Main:

“Hard to believe we've been in business almost 8 years - since July of 2018!

We have enjoyed the support of the Ada community and are thankful for the opportunity to provide a unique shopping experience; but the time has come to close. We will miss many of you who frequent the store to shop or just stop in for a visit, and are thankful God had our paths cross at The Mercantile.

Our "Going out of Business" sale begins this week with 30% off any purchase.”

The idiom “well-preserved” describes something or someone who remains in good condition despite their age. It is often a way to say someone does not look their age in a positive way.

MEDIA RELEASE__ONU’s Durbin-Hileman Softball Stadium sustained significant storm damage to its bleachers, fencing and visitor dugout on March 26. The stadium is closed for repairs.

No additional games will be played at the stadium this season. The university hopes to reopen it for practice in the coming weeks.

In the meantime, the ONU softball team will be practicing at War Memorial Park, thanks to the township's assistance.

Sites for home games are still being finalized with area facilities.
