Red Cross responds to family in Kenton house fire
Volunteers with the American Red Cross of Hardin County responded to a home on Sunday in Kenton.
Red Cross volunteers Daryl Flowers and Amy Huber responded to the call for help at the home on Levings Street and provided the family of three, one adult and two children, with temporary shelter and assistance for immediate needs such as food and clothing.
They also provided the family with Red Cross comfort kits of personal hygiene items.
Red Cross volunteers will continue to work with the family, providing additional assistance as needed and help with recovery planning including information, resources and referrals.
All Red Cross disaster relief is provided free of charge, thanks to the generosity of the American people. You can help people affected by disasters like tornadoes, floods and other crises by making a donation to the American Red Cross.
