Rhett Eldon LeRoy Piper funeral service Feb. 12
Rhett Eldon LeRoy Piper, 1 month, died on Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016 at 7:44 p.m. at Lima Memorial Health Systems, Lima.
Rhett was born on Dec. 21, 2015, in Lima, to Connor E. Piper and Whitney N. Gossard. His father survives in St. Marys and his mother survives in Harrod.
Also surviving are his paternal grandparents: Chad Piper of Lima and Nancy Schmidt of Willshire; maternal grandparents: LeRoy and Wendy Gossard of Harrod; paternal great grandparents: Thomas Wendel and Anita Hynd; maternal great grandparents: Cleo Gossard and Ronald and Loretta Zimmerman; paternal great-great grandmother: Florence Weeks; and several aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by paternal great grandparents: Kurt and Amelia Piper; and maternal great grandfather, Eldon Gossard.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 13, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger, with Pastor Katie Hayes officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery, Westminster.
Friends may call 2 – 4 p.m. and 6 - 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 12, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger, and until time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to Hanson-Neely Funeral Home for the Benevolence of the family at P.O. Box 41, Alger, Ohio 45812.
