Ohio Northern University presents journalist Kelsey Timmerman in the McIntosh Center Ballroom on Wednesday, April 6, at 7 p.m. Timmerman’s presentation, “Where Am I Wearing? A Global Tour to the Countries, Factories and People That Make Our Clothes,” is part of ONU’s “Unite for Awareness Week,” a student-driven initiative to bring attention to issues of discrimination.

 Timmerman has traveled extensively after curiosity about where his clothes came from led him from Honduras to Bangladesh to Cambodia to China and back again. Now he travels the world and shares the stories of the people he meets. His book, “Where Am I Wearing: A Global Tour of the Countries, Factories and People That Make Our Clothes,” is ONU’s summer reading selection.

In his presentation, Timmerman will share his experiences and answer questions from the audience. A book signing will follow the presentation. This event is free and open to the public.
