Virgie Warmbrod, 1922 - 2016
Virgie Warmbrod, age 93, died on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at 3:17 AM at her residence in Alger.
She was born on March 19, 1922 in Hueysville, Floyd County, Kentucky to Dillard and Rosie (Vanderpool) Bailey who preceded her in death. Virgie married Hager Justice on July 19, 1939 and he preceded her in death on February 20, 1971. She later married Donald Warmbrod on July 29, 1972 and he preceded her in death on September 23, 1997.
Virgie was a homemaker. She previously worked at the Ada Laundry for 4 years as well as the Oldaker Manufacturing Company in Dunkirk for 3 years. She attended the Presbyterian Church in Dola and Ada.
She is survived by four sons: Raymond Justice of Lima, OH, Roy Justice of Alger, OH, Dewey (Christine) Justice of Lima, OH and Jerry (Sandi) Justice of Colorado Springs, CO; three daughters: Ruth Griffin of Alger, OH, Lily (Don) Rose of Grand Rapids, MI and Junell (Gary) Chapman-Knepper of Alger, OH; eleven grandchildren, one step grandchild, twenty-two great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Phillip Justice; two daughters-in-law, Beverly Justice and Marilyn Justice; two sons-in-law, Leslie Griffin and Don Dunbar; six brothers and five sisters.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 14, 2016 at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger with Rev. Calvin Waugh officiating. Burial will be in Smith Cemetery, Dola.
Friends may call from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Sunday, March 13, 2016 at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger and until time of service on Sundayat the funeral home.
