KENTON__Krane Stahler of Kenton, Ohio has recently been promoted to the Chief Accounting Officer position of Quest Federal Credit Union. Krane began his career after graduating from Ohio Northern University in 2008 as a public accountant for an area audit and tax accounting firm and after five years in that role, started his Quest career in 2014.
Group finds districts have "unique needs," does not mandate seat belts
COLUMBUS__On January 31, more than two dozen recommendations were issued by the Ohio School Bus Safety Working Group to enhance the safety of school bus travel in Ohio.
Governor DeWine created the working group in August, following the death of a Northwestern Local School District student who was killed in Clark County after another vehicle collided with his school bus.
The report lists a total of 17 recommendations related to bus driver recruitment and retention; training and education; school bus safety features; road and traffic safety; emergency response; and commercial bus services.

Be Our Guest was a song from the 1991 Disney film Beauty and the Beast. The song was performed by Mrs. Potts (Angela Lansbury) and Lemière (Jerry Orbach). During the song’s animation, we see spoons dancing and diving into a punch bowl. In the movie, the Beast struggles to eat with a spoon and Belle puts down her spoon and drinks out of the bowl.
Why talk about spoons? Many medications for infants and children come in liquid dosage forms requiring measuring. Spoons are used to give medications to children.
The Park District board for Liberty Township met on Monday, January 29 with a full house at its meeting room at Simon St. and Park Dr. Bob Szuch was elected as board president; the board also includes Neal Dumbaugh and Fred Reichert. Ken Wolke is the park manager and Mary Jane Lee is the clerk.
