Sylas Daniels worked at Honda Transmission plant
Sylas Payne Daniels, 18, died Friday, April 1, 2016, at 3:11 p.m. at St. Ritas Medical Center, Lima.
He was born on April 30, 1997 in Lima, Ohio, to Jeffrey W. Daniels and Barbara A. (Trout) Lawrence. His father survives in rural Kenton, Ohio and his mother and step-father, Stephen Lawrence survive in Clarksville, Tenn. Sylas worked at the Honda Transmission Plant, Russels Point. He had attended Upper Scioto Valley High School.
Also surviving are his fiancé, Jaelyn DeVore of Kenton; a son, Rylen Payne Daniels at home; four brothers, Jeffrey Savage Daniels of West Liberty, Paul (Danielle) Blair of rural Kenton, Dustin (Daniele) Blair of Ft. Camp bell, Ky., and David Blair of Springfield; one sister, Olivia (Tony) Burt of Lima; and maternal grandmother, Betty Trout of Huntsville.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Don Trout; and paternal grandparents, Rev. John W. and Mary Thelma Daniels.
A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 6, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger, with Pastor David Schneer officiating. Burial will be in Roundhead Cemetery, Roundhead.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m, on Tuesday, April 5, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger, and until the time of service on Wednesday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial co ntributions can be made to the Hanson-Neely Funeral Home for Sylas son, Rylen.
