Martin L. Linn was an Upper Scioto Valley HS graduate
Martin L. Linn, 57, was reunited with his son, Michael, in Heaven on Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at 6:25 p.m. at St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima.
He was born on Aug. 23, 1958, to Major and Deloris Marcine (Underwood) Linn who preceded him in death.
Martin worked at the Pepsi Cola Company of Lima. He was a 1976 Upper Scioto Valley High School graduate. He attended the Alger Assembly of God Church and the LaFayette Congregational Christian Church. Marty enjoyed photography, playing with his grandchildren, landscaping and was a major OSU fan.
Martin is survived by two daughters: Melissa L Dick and Michelle L (Jason) Pedigo both of Frankfort, Ind.; two sons: Matthew L Linn and Collin A Linn both of Frankfort, Ind.; three grandchildren: Everett and Evelinn Dick and Benjamin Pedigo all of Frankfort; three brothers: Mallory L Linn of Bluffton, Myles L Linn and Maurice L (Robin) Linn both of Lima; and a sister, Michele L (Cecil) DeLong of Kenton; and numerous nieces and nephews in Ohio and Indiana.
He was preceded in death by a son, Michael L. Linn; and two sisters: Marla L. Wall and Melanie L. Ross Linn.
Funeral services will begin at 1p.m. on Saturday, May 7, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger with Rev. Calvin Waugh officiating. It was Martin’s wishes to be cremated following the service.
Friends may call two hours prior to the service from 11 to 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 7, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hanson-Neely Funeral Home for the benevolence of the family at P.O. Box 41, Alger, Ohio 45812.
