Ohio Northern University’s Northern on Main will close to University students and employees as well as the public on Sunday, May 8, at 7 p.m., to transform into a new retail outlet. Ohio Northern, in partnership with its dining services vendor, Sodexo, will open a Così.

An international fast casual restaurant company, Così is set to open in the existing footprint in August 2016 and will feature a variety of signature salads, made-to-order sandwiches, soups, bagels, flatbread pizzas, gourmet beverages and desserts.

At the heart of every Così restaurant is an open-flame, stone-hearth oven where the signature flatbread is made from scratch throughout the day. This will be the only Così location in northwest Ohio.

The current Northern on Main building was purchased by ONU in 2015. Taco Bell will remain open during the transformation and will continue its regular operating hours going forward.
