One-half million pounds of mulch - and there's still time to order
By Monty Siekerman
One -half million pounds of mulch...that's what the Ada Lions Club sells each spring to support local scholarships, which amounted to 6,100 this year.
Chad Hays loads two scoops of mulch into a pickup for delivery. Next Saturday, June 4, is the Mulching Guys last day this season.
To order, call 419-634-5626. Cost is $30 for brown per scoop, $35 for black, $10 local delivery.
Want to haul your own? The site is located at Bass Trucking on SR 81, just west of town. They'll be open Saturday from 8 a.m. until about 1 p.m.
