In a second test administered today in Columbus, Governor Mike DeWine has tested negative for COVID-19. First Lady Fran DeWine and staff members have also all tested negative for COVID-19.
A PCR test was administered to the Governor and members of his staff this afternoon. The PCR test looks for the specific RNA for the SARS CoV-2 -- in other words, the genetic material specific for the virus that causes COVID-19.
Hager Mosley, 80, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 6, 2020, at 8:30 a.m. at Mercy Health-St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima.
He was born on March 18, 1940, in Knott County, Kentucky, to the late Robert and Gladys (Smith) Mosley. Hager is survived by his son, Robert Mosley of Ada; a daughter, Lisa (Don) Berry of McGuffey; three grandchildren: Kylie Montgomery, Megan (Doug) Slusher and Justin Roberts; four great grandchildren; and a sister, Minnie Carty of Lakeview.
Hager was preceded in death by two brothers: Simon “Bud” Mosley and Jack Mosley; and four sisters: Irene Pinks, Wanda Holbrook, Carol Newland and Pauline Mosley.
Today, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine took a test for COVID-19 as part of the standard protocol to greet President Donald Trump on the tarmac at Burke Lakefront Airport in Cleveland.
Governor DeWine tested positive. Governor DeWine has no symptoms at the present time.
Governor DeWine is returning to Columbus where he and First Lady Fran DeWine, who also has no symptoms, will both be tested.
Governor DeWine plans to follow protocol for COVID-19 and quarantine at his home in Cedarville for the next 14 days.
Lt. Governor Jon Husted also took the COVID-19 test today as part of the protocol to greet the president. Lt. Governor tested negative.
The Inn at ONU, Ada, will hold an around the world wine sampling from 5 to 7:30 p.m., Friday, Aug. 28.
The evening includes a variety of appetizers and desserts and wine commentary by Sommelier Kevin Boehm. There will also be musical entertainment. Wine is available for purchase during the evening.
Admission is $32 per person and that includes five wine samples from a selection of eight wines unique to the Inn.
The event is designed to meet proper safety and social distancing guidelines. Mask are required exept during dining.
Suter's Produce, Pandora, has its traditional red wagon at 302 Carryout, Ada, with daily sweet corn, peaches, tomatoes and melons. Arrive early in the day. By noon the wagon begins to empty.
