Ada police, fire, EMS and Alger fire and EMS responded to an accident at the intersection of State Route 235 and 309 at 3:11 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3, according to the Ada police report.

The accident resulted with face injuries of at least one person involved. Nine rescue vehicles responded to the accident according to the report.

One of 3 students to receive a My Money Matters scholarship

Ada High School graduate, Danielle Waugh, is one of three ara high school graduates to receive a $1,000 scholarship from Liberty National Bank.

She will attend Rhodes State College, Lima, this fall where she plans to study to be an occupational therapy assistant.

Thirty students within Hardin, Logan and Union counties submitted applications for the Liberty National Bank My Money Matters scholarship.

Liberty National Bank offered three $1,000 scholarship opportunities to local students who completed the Liberty National Bank Financial Literacy Program.

In cooperation with Ada schools, the Ada Icon will post each of the Ada High School class of 2020 seniors in the spotlight. Tabitha Tidd is today's senior in the spotlight.

The OhioMeansJobs Hardin County announced today that the Job Center will re-open by appointment only starting Monday, June 15.

Only three customers will be allowed in the center at one time to follow social distancing guidelines. To schedule an appointment please call 419-674-2312.
