Kenton beats Ada in boys' soccer and girls' soccer

Lady Bulldogs fall to Kenton

ADA - The Ada girls soccer team lost a low-scoring county battle to visiting rival Kenton 2-0 Wednesday evening at the park.
The Lady Bulldogs fell to 1-1 with the loss, while the Lady Wildcats improved to 2-0 with the victory.
Kenton led 1-0 at the half and added another goal in the second stanza to provide all the scoring.
Hannah Holland and Taylor Gilfillan netted the Wildcat goals. Kenton put 22 shots on goal compared to 13 shots fired by Ada.
Bulldog senior Rielyn Castle made 15 saves in goal while Wildcat Jenna Clum stopped seven Ada shots.
Ada plays its first road game of the season Saturday at Marion Harding at 11 a.m.
Bulldog boy kickers fall at Kenton
KENTON - The Ada boys soccer team suffered its first loss of the season at Hardin County rival Kenton Wednesday night, 4-1.
The Bulldogs are now 2-1.
Sophomore Christopher Reyes tallied the only Ada goal. Junior keeper Ace Gamble made four saves in goal.
Ada is slated to visit Spencerville Saturday at 10 a.m. in the NWC opener.
The Ada girls tennis match at Ottawa-Glandorf was rained out and no makeup has been set.
