No serious injuries in Monday two-vehicle accident
The Icon has obtained an update on the two-car crash involving an Ada police cruiser at the intersection of North Johnson and East North Street in Ada this afternoon.
According to a witness at the scene, the driver of the northbound SUV accelerated instead of stopping when the driver's flip-flop apparently caught on the accelerator of the SUV.
The SUV then collided with an Ada police cruiser driven by Sgt. Donnie Deckling. The cruiser landed on its side. The name of the other driver was not yet released.
According to a Hardin County Deputy Sheriff on the scene, there were no serious injuries.
