Girls' soccer: Ada's win over Crestview sounds like a football score - 12-0

ADA - The Ada girls soccer team blew out visiting Crestview 12-0 in the Northwest Conference opener Tuesday evening at the park.
The Lady Bulldogs improved to 2-3-1 overall and 1-0 in the NWC with the lopsided win, while the Lady Knights fell to 0-4 and 0-3 in league play after the loss.
Ada scored four goals in the first half, then poured it on with eight after intermission.
Makayla Callahan, Katie Butterfield and Latifah Bagais each scored two goals to pace the explosive Bulldog offense. Kaitlyn Long, Caitlyn Stover, Ruth Pfeiffer, Gizem Tanriverdi, Allie Dotson and Hailey Callahan added a goal apiece.
Makayla Callahan dished out two assists as well. Kenzie Long, Bella East, Kaitlyn Long and Tanriverdi also passed out one assist each.
Kaitlyn Long tied the school career assist record with her helper.
Ada out-shot Crestview, 39-0.
The Lady Bulldogs play at Tiffin Columbian Wednesday evening.
Bulldog netters fall at St. Marys
ST. MARYS - The Ada girls tennis team lost 5-0 at St. Marys Tuesday evening.
Ada fell to 3-6 with the loss.
The Lady Bulldogs host Van Wert September 20.
