Miami Dolphins cut Zac Dysert from roster

The Miami Dolphins have made another roster move to reduce the size of the team to the regular season limit by this afternoon’s deadline. The latest move is the release of quarterback Zac Dysert:
The release is not really a surprise, with Miami possibly only keeping Ryan Tannehill and Matt Moore at quarterback on the roster. Currently, rookie Brandon Doughty is still on the team as well, though he could be considered for a practice squad position if Miami thinks he can make it through waivers without being claimed.
The Dolphins have until 4pm ET to reach the 53-man regular season roster limit size. With the release of Dysert, the team is sitting at 57 players, with four moves left to make.
