ONU men’s lacrosse team set for February opener

The Ohio Northern men's lacrosse team is set to open its 2017 campaign at Kenyon on Feb. 21 under second year head coach Nat St. Laurent.
The men's lacrosse program posted an 8-7 record in its inaugural season in 2016.
After opening the season at Kenyon on Feb. 21, the Polar Bears will open the home portion of the 2017 schedule as they host Calvin (Mich.) at Dial-Roberson Stadium on Feb. 25.
The schedule will also feature non-conference home matchups with Hanover (Ind.) on Mar. 11, and Adrian (Mich.) on Mar. 15.
Northern will make east coast trips to Hampden-Sydney (Va.) on Mar. 5, Guilford (N.C.) on Mar. 7, and Houghton (N.Y.) on Mar. 18 before taking on Franciscan on Mar. 25.
Ohio Northern will open Ohio Athletic Conference play Apr. 1 as it travels to Mount Union.
The Polar Bears will host Wilmington on Apr. 5, Heidelberg on Apr. 12, Baldwin Wallace on Apr. 14, and Capital on Apr. 29 at Dial Roberson Stadium.
The remainder of the conference schedule will feature matchups at Muskingum on Apr. 8, John Carroll on Apr. 22, and Otterbein on Apr. 26.
The OAC Tournament will start with semifinal games on May 3 and the finals on May 6.
