Grand reopening Friday, June 4, with lots of musical options for all ages

A grand reopening of Vicki’s Music Studio and Noteworthy Community Choir is set for  5 to 7:30 p.m., Friday, June 4, at the studio, 2613 State Route 81, Ada, according to Vicki Mills, studio owner.

“We invite all interested persons to visit our studio, meet our instructors and register for all summer classes and camps,” said Mills.

“You may sign up for private piano or voice lessons,” she said. “And, don’t forget to enter our drawings for tuition discounts plus a grand prize of a full summer tuition remission.”

FINDLAY - The Ada track and field teams competed in the 16-team Div. III district meet finals Friday at Liberty-Benton.

Columbus Grove captured the boys and girls team titles. 

The Ada girls finished 11th out of 16 teams, while the purple and gold boys squad came in 13th. 

Ada's top individual finishes were a pair of fourths by senior Brenna Hissong (400 meters) and sophomore Courtney Sumner (long jump). 

A top four finish in a district final event qualifies an individual or relay team to regionals at Tiffin next week.

It turns out that Ohio's colleges, universities and sports teams took notice.

DeWine received ties from at least 54 colleges and universities, eight athletic teams and four other organizations, according to his 2020 financial disclosure statement recently filed with the Ohio Ethics Commission.

Ada volleyball fans have lots of things to look forward in in.Coach Tabor and staff had 30 girls in second, third, fourth and fifth grade participate in volleyball camp and many junior high, high school, and even alumni help coach. Both drivers lost control of vehicles

The Hardin County Sheriff's Office is investigating two single-vehicle fatalities the occurred over the weekend. The sheriff's reports follow:

County Road 155 accident
The Hardin County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a single car fatal crash that occurred at approximately 2:15 a.m. on Sunday, May 23.

A northbound vehicle, driven by John Hale II of Kenton, was traveling at a high rate of speed on County Road155 south of Kenton.

The driver drove off the right side of the road and over-corrected in an attempt to get back onto the road. Upon doing so he lost control, spun sideways and struck a tree on the left side of the road.
