Blessings for Christmas program gets underway soon
This year’s “Blessings for Christmas” program gets underway this month.
The program offers assistance to Ada school district families in need during the holidays, according to Gwen Jochims, program coordinator.
Individuals, families, organizations and businesses interested in sponsoring a family contact Jochims at [email protected] for details.
Sign-up schedule for families needing assistance follows:
• Tuesday, Oct. 11 – 4 to 6 p.m.
• Tuesday, Oct. 18 – 4 to 6 p.m.
• Saturday, Oct. 29 – 10 a.m. to noon
Sign-ups take place at First Presbyterian Church, Ada, located at the corner of Lincoln and Main. Use the side entrance on Lincoln Street across from post office.
“Please bring an ID and a current utility bill with you when signing up,” said Jochims.
