Homecoming at Ohio Northern University.

That means lots of things. Let's focus on one of those: a parade. Let's see, you need a polar bear, bands, cheerleaders, floats and a large crowd.

Saturday in downtown Ada had all those elements. Monty Siekerman captured many of the parade highlights and the Icon shares his photos with viewers.

You'll see, in no special order:
• Hugging a Polar Bear.
• A crisp parade morning
• A family affair
• Bill and Gretchen Robinson enjoy the parade and visiting friends. They now live in Pittsburgh after retiring. Bill is a former village councilman and school board member. He held various administrative positions at ONU during his nearly 50 years with the University.
• ONU Marching Band with baton twirlers and flags
• Lima RTA Trolly
• Service dogs in training.
• Lots of floats
• A choir on wheels.
• Members of Sigma Phi Epsilon tell the homecoming parade crowd that they are celebrating their 100th year in their house at 821 S. Gilbert St. Their house is said to be the oldest fraternity house in Ohio.
• Kappa Alpha Theta float.
