Here's news updates from Jon Umphress on the Ada Kiwanis Club:

• Club members Carol Friesner, Marilyn Green, and Sandy Neely will chair a committee to plan and organize the club’s annual Christmas Luncheon/ Auction.  

The event will be held at the Community Health Professionals on Tuesday Dec. 13, at noon. Members of the Lima Kiwanis Club and the Ada Rotary Club will be invited to attend to attend. Gift of books to classes at the Ada Elementary Nursery School will presented by the club. Auction proceeds will be donated to the Ada Food Pantry.

• The club will assist the American Red Cross with their Bloodmobile visit. The event is Monday Nov. 21, from 11:30 a.m. to 5:50 p.m. at the Community Health Professionals.

• Nov. 22, joint meeting with Rotary, with the Columbus Zoo as the program

The Ada Kiwanis Club meets each Tuesday at noon in McIntosh Center, Ohio Northern University. Guests are always welcome.
