Maurice "Monnie" Gossard 1959 - 2016
Maurice C. "Monnie" Gossard, 57, of Harrod, died at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov, 12, 2016 at St. Rita's Inpatient Hospice Unit.
He was born on June 20, 1959, in Lima to the late Lyman Gossard and Elizabeth "Beth" (Higgins) Gossard, who survives in Lima. On May 8, 1982, he married Lisa Sandy, who survives in Harrod.
Maurice was a truck driver for Nash Finch for 28 years and retired in 2016. He was a member of Pleasant View Church of the Brethren.
Surviving are his children Andrea (Joseph) Payne, Bradley (Rachel) Gossard, Stacy (Jeffrey) Niese and Kayla (Joel) Llewellyn all of Harrod; 11 grandchildren; sisters, Maura Reese of Belle Center and Mona Gossard of Ada; a brother, Marlon (Melissa) Gossard of Ada.
He was preceded in death by his brothers Michael and Matthew Gossard.
A private family service will be held at the convenience of the family.
Interment will be in Lewis Grove Cemetery.
