Emmetta L. "Emmy" Bickle
Emmetta L. "Emmy" Bickle, 46, died on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2016, at 5:07 a.m. at her residence in Dunkirk.
She was born on May 25, 1970, in Lima, Ohio to Gary Jan and Barbara (Johnson) McCurdy who preceded her in death. On Oct. 16, 1999, Emmy married Damon K. Bickle and he survives in Dunkirk.
Emmy worked as a cake decorator. She was a member of the Bridgeport Church, Dunkirk.
Also surviving are two daughters: Amanda (Jamie) Endicott of North Lewisburg and Samantha (Ryan) McClaren of Kenton; two step sons: Keith (Jenny) Bickle of Kenton and Damon (Arica) Bickle, II of Mt. Victory; two step daughters: Lucinda (Tim) Moe and Brittany Bickle both of Kenton; thirteen grandchildren and one great grandchild; a brother, Tom (Donna) McCurdy of Lima; two sisters: Vonda (Bob) Weaks of Kenton and Vernice (Anna) McCurdy of Fostoria; and her dearest friend, Florence "Peanut" (Pat) Johnson of Dunkirk.
Funeral services will begin at noon on Thursday, Dec. 22, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Friends may call two hours prior to the service on Thursday, Dec. 22, from 10 a.m. to noon at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
